My cat loves flowers and will not leave them alone when they are in the house.
She always takes time to stop and smell the roses.
These pictures are from this spring; she really liked this tulip.
I put this little bouquet of
gerberas in the house yesterday and she has decided she likes this water better than what is in her dish. She keeps taking the flowers out to drink the water. I hope it won't make her sick.
This picture isn't very good, but I wanted to include it anyway.
Hi Robin,
ReplyDeleteI nominated you for a blogger reflection award. Check out my latest post when you get time to see what I am talking about. :-)
Your photos are fantastic! I love the one of the vegetables. Made my mouth water!
ReplyDeleteI also love the Zinnia close-up photo from June 25th. Beautiful!
And Libby is soooo cute. I really like the one of her in the basket.
So glad that we were hitting the "next blog" button at the top of the page and found your blog.
Gonna try some of those recipes!
Peace.....Lj and Tj
I just love brown tiger kitties and yours is adorable! Loved this post!
ReplyDeletePrecious photos!! We can learn so much from our cats!
ReplyDelete~Stop to smell the roses~ for sure one thing!
I do hope that Xmas poinsettia is not a favorite flower because they are harmful to pets I am sure :(
^.^ NG
My cats take flowers out of vases to drink the water too. I don't think it's harmful so long as the flowers themselves aren't poisonous to them. My kitties are 7 yrs old and have been doing it all their lives. Never caught one burying their nose in the flowers though, that's a wonderful picture =)
ReplyDeleteJen, thank you for the nomination, I'm honored to be included, and thank you for your sweet words about my blog.
ReplyDeleteTranquility base, I'm glad you found my blog too! Thanks for visiting and for your lovely comments.
Kylee, she is adorable isn't she? I'm not really a cat person, but she has won me over.
naturegirl, thanks for the reminder about poinsettia. I wouldn't want her to be poisoned.
Marvie, thank you, I'm glad you stopped by.
Nothing like the life a cat leads:) Very cute.
ReplyDeleteHi Robin,
ReplyDeleteThat's one flowery cat you have. I think she appreciates flowers as much as you do.
Your photos really are awesome.
Drop by for a visit.
Robin, how very, very sweet! She reminds me a lot of my dear kitty who was my companion for a long time. There is no lovlier combination that cats and flowers. Thanks for posting these.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for stopping by and for your kind comments.
ReplyDeleteAWWWW... how cute she is!!! :) And what great photos you got of her, too. I love the ones with her nose buried in the flowers.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww...Libby is a florist-in-training. Our NAUGHTY feline family just like to taste things...though they seem to know what's toxic and what's tastable.
ReplyDeleteWonderful blog, and great photos. I'm glad I finally made it here!
Jodi, welcome, I'm glad you made it here too.
