Spring has Sprung!

It is definitely beginning to look like spring here at Robin's Nesting Place! I was so excited to see the flower buds on the lilacs! It won't be long and I will be enjoying those delightful blooms!

  1. I'm in the same spot, springwise. It's very exciting, isn't it? Love the new photos in your banner, especially the "beauty shot" of your dog.

  3. Robin, what a great spring collage. I can hardly wait to get outside this morning to see what I can find on my walk.

  4. Robin - the collage is just great - you must be having fun with that. The lilac bud is so pretty - and you can almost tell it's a lilac, too. That tiniest of tease of the lilac color and texture is peeking out of the bud. Happy Friday.

  6. Wow. What an impressive blog you have put together now. I really like what you are doing. I am about the same as you as far as our weather goes. We had frost on the car windows this morning so it isn't that warm yet. My wife and I did plant to dwarf bamboo today and put wire cages around it. It is also hard to imagine that this will get up to 10 feet tall or more.

  7. Hey! Just thought I'd let you know that I'm not getting any RSS Feeds when you post anything new. Hope all is going well for you!

  8. Beautiful photographs. I'm surprised that you are sufficiently north to have lilacs. What a joy.

  9. I too love your header. And it's Spring here as well. But it keeps raining on the weekends and we can't work on the cottage. This time last year we were begging for rain.

I'm trying out Picasa too and comparing it to the upgraded Picnik. I had the old Pacasa before I got my Mac but didn't like it as much with the old puter. The new version rocks. I did like picnik a lot and am thinking about buying their upgrade. I love the scrapbook pages that you can post to your blog. Have you seen it? It has more options.

Yeah so much for spring, we are suppose to get 6 inches of snow here in Chicago on Saturday, what a drag.
    Those Gerberas are wonderful!

  13. We went to Rural King last night and I bought two boxwoods, but they had lilacs there with blooms already, I had to stop and smell. Heaven! We had three big lilacs at our old house and I wish I could have moved them. I just have two tiny twigs now..... Grow! Grow! Grow! (they have leafs, so they are fine this year!) hugs...Brooke

  16. Isn't it exciting to see things 'springing', Robin? My first crocuses are blooming today, and it's so good to see their happy, bright purple faces :)
The color of those gerberas is so beautiful. Your lilacs are way ahead of ours!
    Love your new header collage.
Warm here today and yesterday...real gardening weather...at last!
