I think It's Corrected!!!
I think I finally have the issue concerning blog updates fixed! At least the most current post is now showing up in the sidebar of those who graciously follow my blog!
Somehow in my settings I said "Yes" to "Show Link Field" this field assumes that you are using a customized template. I kept seeing error messages that I didn't understand and I'm assuming this is what it was trying to tell me. I changed that setting to "No" and it started showing the current posts again. At least I hope that is what did it.
While I was tinkering with my settings trying to correct my problem, I decided that I would change my blog look. My daughter likes the green better, and I think I do too. Which do you like better?
Yes Robin, all of a sudden (3 hours ago) I got a bunch of your lastest posts. You have fixed whatever gremlins were bothering your feeds. :-D
ReplyDeleteI went back to my blogger dashboard where I should see all the updated posts of those I follow. This last one isn't there. On my blog list on my web page your links are still not showing.... so you have fixed most of it -- but there may still be a bug or two.
ReplyDeleteI am always a fan of green so I'm kinda biased. I do have to say that I LOVE this photo! SO gorgeous!

I'm still not seeing the newest story title, but your blog moved up the "recent" list, so the timing must be coming across, but not the title.

Seems like most of your problems are solved.I too had a bunch of your posts sow up in the Google Reader yesterday.Love the flowers, thay are so cheerful.

Hi Robin,
ReplyDeleteI finally got an update in my blog list for your blog. Now the problem is that this latest post isn't showing up... only "A Much Needed Break". Which BTW I'm glad you were able to sit in the swing and just read.
I like the white background but then again I liked the green one too.

I love this photo!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous!
I like the green better too! I love the photo. I can see the newest post title. I'm so glad you got it fixed. -Jackie
ReplyDeleteI like the green, too. Like everyone else, I received scads of posts from you once you resolved the problem. Following you is such a joy - beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous peonies!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you ...and prefer the green background.
Glad you found out what was bugging your blog! I love the peonies in this picture! What a wonderful talent you have Robin!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I just found this post and the one you published after this one (the June 1st one), but they weren't on my sidebar yet...(just the one I left my earliest comment on today asking 'how did you get your feed working?') I wonder why these 2 most recent ones aren't on my sidebar. Very strange indeed;-)
ReplyDeleteAs for your blog, I like the change; it's something new and different. Why not change it once in a while. I keep changing my header too. I like to add different flowers to it, or different scenes, whatever. I did like your collage at the top, and even your earlier one...but hey, experiment a little. I like a little variety;-)
...oops, I meant the later post on May 31st...it wasn't June 1 yet.
ReplyDeleteThese blog programs do seem to have a mind of their own sometimes. Mine was having a particular fit the other day too, but my husband seems to have gotten it under control. I love those peonies. Mine won't be blooming for another week or two.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about you this morning - and missing you again because sadly your updates aren't showing up in my Google reader again. *sigh* What a beautiful photo. I loved your post about graduation cards, too, and I hope that squirrel won't be as greedy at your bird feeder as they are at mine. I pray you are having a blessed Sabbath.
ReplyDeleteWell, I just got down to this post about how your feed problem was resolved. Yea! I'm glad you're back, Robin. I know you hadn't really gone away, but a feed makes it so much easier to keep up with my favorite bloggers, and you're definitely one of them.
