It is a windy and cool 58 degrees at 1:00 PM. Definitely feels like autumn here in Indiana today. I'm joining Mary @ the Little Red House today for Mosaic Monday.
Hi Robin! First, I said - wow! It's certainly autumn in Indiana! Second, I started panicing - I didn't even start fall decorating. We had and still have a warm and nice summer here. Your collage is wonderful. Very tasteful. I like that you used a planter for the arrangement!
So lovely! We are hoping for a weak cool front this week that will give us low's in the upper 60's and hi's in the mid 80's. "Weak" is the key word there. Autumn for us means the beginning of migratory birds, and that is my hope. Your autumn will bring birds to Pollywog Creek. =)
Oh, very nice! I would do a mosaic of chickens. In fact, I plan to do that in the near future. In the meantime, I'm catching up on my woefully sorry blog reading. Glad to be back in touch with you!
We've had 90+ degree weather here in Northern California this last couple of weeks. Today is the first cooler day with a bit of a breeze. I think Autumn might finally be arriving for us!
You know Autumn is my favorite time of year and the colors in your collage make me want to cook some pumpkin pie and bake sunflower seeds. I'm so driven by the visual. Beautiful!
Thanks for the fun comment on my blog. I appreciate the kudos about my story telling.
Hi Robin, You've done a lovely job with those arrangements, and of course, with your photos and collages. You still never cease to amaze me with the beauty of your photos. I read your last post and you sure did get some very nice 'stuff' at the thrift shop and garage sale-ing! I do that sometimes, too...although I don't need much of anything these days. Actually, on weekends my husband drives to Goodwill so we can unload some stuff we've accumulated during our (almost) 32 years together! I think you made out like a bandit...as the saying goes! I'm glad you guys are doing ok and you can enjoy your home and not worry about things like that right now. You've had more than your share of stress this past year! I hope your relatives are doing well and that you are too!
Those are such great blooms to feature together. The colors of summer become the colors of autumn. It is nippy and crisp here today. Gotta get out in the garden!
Hi Robin, What a beautiful mosaic of so many perfectly autumnal images. We were a 'brisk' 72 degrees this morning early. What a relief~~that's the coolest temp we've had in months. We only got to 84 degrees midday. Whew... that was nice.
Your pretty mosaic certainly has the look of autumn. Our weather today was even cooler than yours, with rain added in. Fall seems to have totally evicted summer! I'm craving sunshine. There's still much to do in the garden.
Such a lovely mosaic. I love your autumn wreath. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day
I'm loving all the autumn mosaics today! Your wreath is very pretty. ::Jill

Yes autumn is here, and it sure shows in all the gorgeous colors which surround us. Love your fall mosaic.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful compilation, Robin. It really gets me in the fall spirit -- along with the 63 degree cool morning here after yesterday's nice rain.
