A Novel Idea

I had a wonderful time today at the Indiana Flower and Patio Show. The theme this year is, "A Novel Idea". My favorite garden was Robin Hood.

There was so much to see that it was difficult to take it all in.

The Bible is not a novel, but the Garden of Eden was a delightful surprise. I love the Scripture stone!

The combination fire and water features amaze me. Under The Tuscan Sun had a delightful outdoor kitchen . They had succulents in the containers

The Dr. Seuss garden was a little sparse in plant material compared to the other gardens, but it was very cute. Notice the boy fishing with gummy worms.

The Hobbit.

Hopefully tomorrow I will have time to do part two of the Indy Flower and Patio Show.

  1. What a fun show Robin! I like the scripture stone too. They're all wonderful. I haven't been to a flower show for a few years, and I really should check around my area for dates and times. You've inspired me! (:

  3. Pretty cool displays. I'm a big fan of the themed gardens and these brought a smile to my face. We had a couple of interesting ones at the Chicago Flower & Garden Show this year.

  4. I like the way you have put these gardens in mosaic style so we can see the features together. No wonder you liked Robin Hood with that gorgeous dress and the same color of flowers together. The scripture stone would be a nice addition to anyones garden.
