Did you or your children ever watch Sherry Lewis and Lambchops? If so, do you remember the "Song That Never Ends"? "It goes on and on, my friends! (Sorry for getting that one stuck in your head!) Anyway that is how I feel about winter! It seems never ending this year! We actually had snow flurries and sleet again yesterday morning!
Desperate for a bit of color, I bought these lovely hydrangeas at Sam's Club and decided to do a little photo shoot with them.
I have a small shop at a vendor mall and this perfect chippy door is in one of the spaces, (White River Mercantile). It just begs to be a photography backdrop!
I have sorely neglected my blog, and a couple of days ago I decided to check my stats to see if I even had any hits. Much to my surprise, I did! I checked my referrals and saw that many of them were coming from Kristi at Addicted 2 Decorating.
She had done an outdoor post May 2013 featuring my brick birdbath.
Her post is still generating a lot of interest! I feel bad not knowing sooner about the feature. Thank you Kristi!
When it warms up, (and hopefully that will be soon), I have a ton of
projects waiting to be done. I plan to share many of those with you!
The Hydrangeas are gorgeous. Yep,I too am waiting for spring and warmer weather.
ReplyDeleteSpring is teasing us here in SE Nebraska. We've had a handful of days warmer than 50, but lots colder. We haven't had as much snow as others, but I almost wish we would have, so our soil would not be so dry. At this point, though, I just want rain and days warm enough to work outside. I am tickled to see some plants coming up, though.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your photos, and hope spring comes soon to your parts.
I remember watching Sherry and Lambchop, but am not remembering that song. I wonder if it will just start going through my head later, as it comes back to my memory.
Hang in there! (I've been posting and getting to others' blogs less, too.)
Hi Robin, YES--hopefully, Spring will be here TO STAY soon. At least, we don't have SNOW today---just lots and lots of RAIN...
ReplyDeleteLove the precious birdbath.... How special is that!
Your Hydrangeas are gorgeous --and will get even prettier... I love Hydrangeas.
Hugs,
Betsy
That hydrangea is a real knockout, I hope it turns out to be hardy for you!
ReplyDeleteHow nice that you are still getting traffic from that post, blogging is always surprising us.
ReplyDeleteLove that door, and the hydrangea.
Jen

I found your blog by searching for bird bath ideas. I really like the natural look of your one on the bricks. Sandra
