In July I had a post titled,
Kitty Bouquets, that showed my cat getting into my flower bouquets. I love flowers in the house but am concerned that some might be poisonous to her so I rarely bring them in. I went out this morning and cut just a few cosmos so I could enjoy them up close. It wasn't long before little Miss Curious was licking her lips, (see her tongue in the second picture), and getting into the flowers. It happens every time.
Isn't it curious that your cat's so into the flowers. Perhaps it's because my Miss P lived under a bush for a couple of years before we convinced her to move in with us, but she doesn't give a hoot about flowers or bushes. She likes her food either warm or served up in a bowl--but only Deli Cat.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wonderful photos!

My cats will devour anything green and semi-alive if brought into the house. Cats are psycho, I'm convinced.
ReplyDeleteOur Jasmine chews some of my house plants too (she pruned one severely last winter), but hasn't touched any bouquets yet, thankfully.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are wonderful :)
Enjoyed your post about the Vietnam wall too and agree with your sentiments. We owe a great debt of gratitude to all our service men and women.
So sad to pull out the impatiens and coleus, but I'm sure your border will look pretty with the mums and pansies.
That butterfly photo is amazing!!
Robin (bumblebee), cats have such different personalities. It sounds like yours has a catitude. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteKatie, I thought all cats were psycho too, and wasn't a cat person at all. But this little cat has changed my mind. She is the very best pet I've ever had.
Kerri, thank you, so glad you stopped by.
Our cats are the reason why we never have plants inside the house. They even try the fake ones.
