I couldn't pass up this opportunity to share a few pictures of my own special kitty, (I'll have to skip the dire poetry part, I'm not feeling that creative tonight.)
Sometimes Libby is aloof like other cats, but most of the time she is very friendly.
She often finds unusual places for her catnaps.
She loves to lay on books, especially if they are open and in my lap.
She loves to roll around in the catnip.
She often sits in my lap while I'm at the computer, trying to lick my fingers as I type. She is my shadow and sleeps beside me at night. She actually comes when I call her. As much as I love her, it is hard to remember that there was a time that I really disliked cats. She has definitely won me over to the cat side.

Libby is a lovely little cat and it's great that she has won you over to the catlovers side. Small wonder with such a loving prrrrrrrsonality.

She reminds me of our Skimble - he likes to roll around in the computer stuff too. And as for helping you to read your books - isn't that just typical?
What a sweet kitty. I can see why she has won you over to the cat side. I don't have a cat. I see them in the garden from time to time but none have taken up residence here. I love the "eye to eye" photo. I often think it funny where cats like to perch or curl up for a nap. I wonder if Libby thinks that baby doll is real. The one holding her (in the first picture)is certainly cute.
She is a real beauty. I love cats, and we are always happy when Bootsie comes over to visit.

Hi Robin and thanks for sharing your kitty pics with us! You kitty Libby looks just like the cat my oldest daughter, Megan had called Lilly. Funny the name is so similar!

Ahhh....what a cutey! She reminds me of one of our cats, who also happens to like sleeping on the printer (and whom I suspect of having broken the previous printer!).
I didn't see that post, I would have played along! I'm a cat (and dog) lover too. Yours looks like she has lots of personality and if she comes when you call her, that's extra special (for a cat).

The copier is a great place! I bet it's warm in the winter. MY cat likes my printer--especially when it runs and paper (to play with) comes out from some mysterious place.
She's very pretty. I was once a cat lady (owned three a one time) but then came the dogs and my husband developer allergic asthma. So, after the last cat passed away in 02, I've been missing a cat in the house.
I'm in cat-heaven, she's so cute!!
