Garden Blogger Bloom Day

It was a gorgeous day with the most amazing blue sky! I enjoyed finally being able to spend some time cleaning up in the garden. It was wonderful to look around and see all of the spring growth emerging!

I was so surprised to see an iris today. It is amazing how quickly they can pop up when the temperature warms up and we actually get a little sunshine.

My only blooms so far are crocus and one lone iris, but it won't be long and I'll have daffodils. I'm already seeing flower buds!

I'm a day late, (oops it's already after midnight, so that makes it two days late), but I'm linking up to Garden Blogger Bloom Day, hosted by Carol, from May Dreams Gardens.

Robin, gorgeous blooms! We well take these any time. You are farther ahead than we are-must have you own micro-climate.:) I am loving the weather too. If only we could get a nice weekend, I could get something done in my gardens.

We are tickled for you, Robin, that the sun and spring are gracing your garden with their presence. Please send some of each our way, but keep some for your self as well. :-)

Lovely colors for spring. Are the crocus planted around the iris?

For the first time I have Iris reticulata blooming in my garden and I love it. I had been meaning to add it for a while. You're another one who is adding to my crocus envy. :)
