We are enjoying record breaking warm temperatures here in Indiana! According to the extended forecast, it appears that they will continue through the remainder of March! Spring weather came on so quickly and with temperatures already in the 80's, things are growing rapidly! I've not had time to properly clean the flower beds!

I don't think I have introduced you to the newest member of our family. This is Piper! She is actually my daughter's kitten. She was adopted from the Humane Society in December and quickly made herself at home!  She is quite the talker and demands a lot of attention to the point of tormenting! I call her "Baby" because she is so needy and has the tiniest little meow that reminds me of a newborn baby. They, (my daughter and her two cats), will be moving into a place of their own some time in the next few months. It will be awfully quiet around here without "Baby".

Baby's adorable. Kevin and I fell in love with Indianapolis when we visited last year. So very curious to see how everyones gardens are doing. We haven't had the 80s yet - apparently coming late today and tomorrow on this side of Lake Ontario. Everything but the natives are well ahead of themselves - my witch hazel started shedding petals today - other years, it's just started to bloom.

This weather has just been unreal here too. Piper has such pretty stripes. It well take some getting use to when they move out. Have a terrific week Robin.

Piper is a cutie! While this early spring has been beautiful, it has made the blossoms so fleeting. We've cooled off now, so things are slowing down long enough to enjoy them.

Piper looks like she has quite the personality. We have had some record warm temperatures although they are much more seasonable this week. Better for the flowers since they last longer.

I like your site and I nominated it for the Sunshine Award. I think it's a fun award and I hope you find it interesting:

Piper is a doll! What a cutie in her very regal pose. I love the post-processing you did on your daffodil shot. So gorgeous, Robin!

Thank you for the wonderfully kind comment you left on my blog. It means a lot. I'm feeling a little better each day so that's a good thing.
