Peony flowers make some of the best bouquets. I love the ones with so many petals that they can barely hold their heads up. What are the names of your peonies?
These are stunning RegardsKaren
Robin...I've enjoyed your last few posts! I've only been to White River Gardens once and thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the butterfly pavilion! I need to take my 6 grandkids to the zoo! -- I too have the blue-eyed grass & it has been so pretty. Just last night I noticed one of mine looks like yours & couldn't imagine what had happened. I'm wanting more of it & can't find it. Do you know where to buy it? -- I live in Columbus-about 40-miles south of Indy & my daisies aren't blooming either! Mine are the Shasta daisies so maybe they bloom later. Lastly--my peonies have huge buds but none have opened yet. Not sure the problem on that either. I love your pics!
That is right...just peonies. If you have a few in a vase, the house is decorated. Your peonies are lovely.
Wow. Not much else to say but wow. I so wish we could have peonies, so thanks for bringing yours all the way to Texas~
Oh the peonies are just beautiful. Makes me wanna try to grow them myself.
Don't the peonies seem exceptionally pretty this year? Maybe because of the cool early. Yours are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.
OK, I can start my day now... so much beauty to focus on and remember here in your corner of the world Robin. Thanks and have a beautiful day!
Beautiful, beautiful pictures! How many peony plants do you have?
Robin,Found your blog by accident. Your gardens and flowers are beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I am a fellow Hoosier. . .about 55 miles northeast of Indianapolis. Cathy
Robin,They are lovely peonies... Your photos makes me want to lean in to look in their faces and see if they smell as sweet as they look.gail
Your peonies aren't 'just', they are PEONIES. Beautiful. Wish I could smell them.
It is that time of the year in Indiana for sure! Some of the old peony plants in my neighborhood are stunning - particularly when they're in yards that have *nothing* else going on: no trees, shrubs or perennials, only grass. And beautiful, tough old peonies!
There is no such thing as *just* peonies. They are wonderful Robin, thanks for sharing and I love the gorgeous pics you took of them.
Spectacular photos! Jamie
What beautiful flowers!
Mine are showing just a wisp of color. Yours are dancing at the party, skirts aflyin'!
Your peonies are absolutely spectacular Robin! Just peonies... is all you need.
Robin, I love peonies! They remind me of beautiful cabbage roses. Jenny, my youngest daughter almost used peonies in her bridal bouquet but she changed her mind, I am really sorry she did that. You enjoy those wonderful blossoms of yours!
My goodness---that is grand. Thank you for the kind words you posted while I was rebuilding my blog and acting like a crazy person.
Lovely photos! -- Good Acres
