Oh Robin, these are just gorgeous! You must have had a great time taking these photos. And such pretty water lilies as a back ground. Where is this place?

Thank youfor sharing. :)

Stunning photos, Robin. Several landed on and near me today at the lake ... shame on me for not having camera near. Happy 4th

Robin, The dragonflies are so beautiful and colourful. The one in the 4th picture seems to be staring straight into your lens! The dragonflies, the lilies and the lake...isn't it paradise?

What great colors. Dragonflies rarely sit still long enough to get a photo. Good job. The water lilies are beautiful too.

Dragonflies are interesting and their eyes are fascinating. I wonder what their world is like and what they look at and how that looks to them?

Fabulous photos, especially the close up and personal ones. We must not have dragonflies around here...I never see them.

Hi Robin, you have given lots of personality to the dragonflies, beautiful as always. The one is turning his head to look at you, I have never seen them do that before. Were you speaking to him/her?

Robin, your shots are so good! I love the colors of the dragonflies. It must have been fun being there to see them...as you said in an earlier post, good thing the parking lot at the zoo was filled up;-)

Beautiful pictures! I can never get a good photo of the dragonflies because they move so fast.

Love the Dragons and the Damselflies! Right now my favorite all time bug is the Damselfly, The Ebony Jewelwing....I am so smitten with them. The best part of summer is the bugs!

They are just about the sweetest little things on earth and you've captured them perfectly. I can see every vein in their wings. Marvelous!

Gorgeous photos, Robin! The dragonflies have been flying about my garden, but I can't photograph them the way you do. They are so much fun to watch.

Don't tell me you did these in AUTO? Do you have a good zoom lens (seriously, i love your photos!)

Rosemarie, thank you! They are indeed Auto all the way. I didn't even know how to do it manually. I do have a pretty good zoom lens.
