Autum at Potter's Bridge

I had an opportunity to stop by Potter's Bridge yesterday. The leaves are not yet at their peak. With the cool rainy weather we've had recently it won't be long until all of the leaves will have fallen and winter will be here. I'm not ready for that! We've already, very reluctantly I might add, had to turn on the heater. I am ready for Indian summer to arrive, I sure hope we have one this year.

Stunning collage, Robin. We've had record high/lows lately and heat indexes of 105 and greater. Can't imagine turning on the heat.

Your beautiful photos remind that it really is fall.

It feels like summer has abandoned us in any form. I am ready for this rain to stop. Your photos are gorgeous.

Your pictures are so beautiful.I don't expect much color over here this year.It seems we have gone from summer too fast and it looks like the fall will be short. The forecast is for snow tonight and tomorrow.

Beautiful fall pictures! I hope when they are at their peak you can join in the Fall Color Project! We ran the heat one day as it was cold, and the heater needed a test after it's vacation before things got too cold.

Beautiful pictures. I love the name of the bridge - Potter was my maiden name.

Wow, Robin, what a gorgeous place. Nothing like autumn colors reflected in water! Alas, our heater's kicked on a couple of times now, too. Yikes!

Oh how this collage makes me want to walk right into the image! I live in a place where the fall colors are rather muted. Coastal areas in the west are mild... but how I love the beauty you live in! Thank you for sharing. Vicki

Really pretty pictures. We've just started getting a little red in the dogwoods but that's about it. I can't wait to see the fall colors here. :)

I just love your bridge, and it's seasonal beauty! Sedona was fabulous, we stayed at The Ridge at Sedona Golf Resort. What an incredibly gorgeous place. I took over 800 photos, but now I have to seriously edit that number down!

Robin, Autumn is a gorgeous season; however, for me it's just a prelude to a winter. Since summer is the season I enjoy the most, I'm not happy to switch on the heat and turn on lights so early in the day.

But, your images are really stunning. Wow. You're probably two or three weeks ahead of us.

Thank you for your sweet comments on my craft desk. I hope you are inspired to do something with your shelf! I loved your last two posts about the praying mantis and turtle. We have 3 water turtles...so I am a turtle lover. I'm glad he's safely back in a pond! I can't believe he followed you home! amazing...Kristen

Spectacular photos! We've been having similar weather here. I love fall. The colors are so splendid and vibrant, but it is also a sign of gardening coming to an end until spring. BTW, Potter is my maiden name :)
