I am glad to see that the Cardinal won. Great photos. I had a Male Cardinal feeding a female this week. It always looks like such a sweet gesture. The female appeared to be acting coy. Testing the males ability to feed I guess.

Love it. There's definitely a pecking order in the aviary world and it's so much fun to watch. The cardinals, blue jays and flickers are always at the top, but they often let the sparrows fly to the feeders first to make sure they are safe.

These are just wonderful pictures, especially with the clump of snow still on the tree! That Cardinal wasn't about to let the Sparrow win. Happy first day of spring, Robin!!

I knew the cardinal would win! And I love your bird feeder for the cardinal - how did you make that? We have a huge squirrel problem (who doesn't) so I'm always looking for good bird feeders.
