Indoor Blooms

yellow gerbera

I'm really enjoying the gerbera daisies that were brought inside. They have continued blooming non-stop. The yellow one just opened up and is like a little ray of sunshine in the house.

It had been a really long time since I've had a Christmas cactus so I picked this one up a few days ago. The delicate blooms are quite beautiful and of course I was drawn like a magnet to that hot pink.

Ahhhh yes. Color...They are wonderful. I lost my christmas cactus this spring. I couldn't figure out why. It had the same lovely pink blossoms that yours has. I had had it for several years doing the same routine. Hmmmmmm

I'm no big fan of hot pink crepe myrtles, but a pink Christmas cactus is different!

Your gerber daisy looks quite happy to be inside, Robin. I'd have brought it in, too.

Robin, I brought a Gerbera daisy inside last year and one very nearly made it until spring. It bloomed once during the winter and it was yellow. I loved it. Yours are GORGEOUS!!
