Humming in the Rain

It has been a busy few days as we had our second round of house guests. We hosted my brother, his wife and three daughters for a few days. We were able to celebrate my niece's graduation from high school. Congratulations again, Ashley!

We have finally gotten a bit of rain over the last few days. It has been scattered showers here and there, none lasting for very long at a time, but enough to help green things up a bit.
This picture is not very clear because it was taken through the window with a screen. It has been fun watching the hummingbirds. They have been coming one at a time to the feeder. I've seen this one and another with a red throat.

During one of the light rain showers we spotted this hummer in the tree. It really seemed to enjoy the rain and flitted from branch to branch.

We had another double rainbow on Sunday. For some reason this area tends to have them. My camera lens had raindrops on it so there are a few spots.
